ORNIQUE was founded in 2026 by the shoemaker Masayuki Kaneko.
Years of bespoke and made-to-order work left him deeply drawn to the beauty and craft of classic leather shoes, and to the value of handwork itself.
Designs and techniques handed down over a long time. Touching the material, working with the hands, shaping one pair at a time. There is a richness here that efficiency alone cannot describe.
ORNIQUE was born to hold that value while making products that sit naturally within a contemporary sensibility and way of living.
Not to reproduce the classic, but to rebuild it — comfort, function and everyday wear included.

The name ORNIQUE holds two meanings: ORIGIN and UNIQUE.

Full custom shoemaking by Masayuki Kaneko, beginning with a last carved to your own feet. Through repeated trial fittings, design, materials and specification are all yours to choose.
