Built on our own lasts, fitted to you
ORNIQUE shoes are built on lasts of our own, drawn from years of experience, and made up in the size from our range that suits you best.
We do not modify lasts individually; in return, the form stays refined and the quality consistent.
Each model is delivered in its finished form, while colour ordering lets you choose from a wide range of leathers. The combination of material and colour makes the pair yours.
Because so much of the work is done by hand, delivery takes approximately four months from confirmation of payment.
Orders are normally taken at a trunk show, so that we can meet each client in person; for those who live further away, we also take orders by post.

ORNIQUE DESIGN STUDIO is an online customisation service where you combine carefully selected leathers, colours, details and soles to design a pair of your own.
Choose your specification from the options prepared for each model and see the finished shoe simulated on the spot. Watch each change as you make it, and shape a pair that is yours down to the details.
A new way to order, built on traditional shoemaking and opened up by modern technology.

Ordering at a trunk show
We hold trunk shows regularly, so that you can experience ORNIQUE and its craftsmanship first hand. You can see the sample shoes in person and take your time over fitting and colour. Examining the particulars of your feet directly lets us recommend a size with far greater accuracy.

Ordering by post
Orders are normally taken at a trunk show, so that we can meet each client in person; for those who live further away, we also take orders by post.
- Enquiry and application
Send us your specification from ORNIQUE DESIGN STUDIO, or tell us through the Contact page which model you would like and the size you usually wear.
- Fitting sample and leather swatches sent
We send a fitting sample close to your size, together with leather swatches for choosing your colour. Shipping both ways is at the customer's expense.
- Confirming size and choosing colour
Try the fitting sample at home and confirm the size that suits you best. At the same time, look through the enclosed leather swatches and choose the colour combination you would like.
- Returning the sample
Please return the fitting sample and leather swatches to the address we provide.
- Payment
Once the sample is back with us and your size and colour are confirmed, we will send payment details.
- Making begins
As soon as payment is confirmed, we begin making your pair. Production normally takes around four months, though this varies with the order book.
- Delivery
The finished shoes are delivered to you.
