ORNIQUE was founded in 2026 by shoemaker Masayuki Kaneko.
Over many years of engaging in shoemaking through bespoke and made-to-order services, I have become deeply fascinated by the beauty, craftsmanship, and value of handmade classic leather shoes.
Designs and techniques passed down through generations. The process of touching materials, moving hands, and shaping each pair one by one. There is a richness here that cannot be described by efficiency alone.
ORNIQUE was born with the aim of creating products that naturally fit into modern sensibilities and lifestyles, while cherishing that value.
Instead of merely reproducing classics, we aim to reconstruct them, including comfort, functionality, and everyday wearability.

The name ORNIQUE embodies two meanings: "Origin" and "Unique."
It represents the creation of new products from a unique perspective, while looking at the values at the origin and beginning of craftsmanship.

This is ORNIQUE's casual line, made with the Goodyear welt construction. We will create a pair of shoes that will become a part of your daily life, with robust construction and the ability to enjoy their aging. In addition to your preferred materials and colors, you can also choose the outsole.

Heritage
This is ORNIQUE's dress shoe line, featuring a nine-part hand-sewn welted construction. Each pair offers a supple flex and superior comfort, born from expert craftsmanship. You can choose your preferred material and color from a wide selection of leathers, while retaining the sophisticated form of each model.

Bespoke
Masayuki Kaneko's full bespoke service begins with the creation of a last tailored to your feet. After multiple trial fittings, you can choose every aspect of the design, materials, and specifications. We will craft a truly unique pair of shoes for you, without any compromises. Please note that we are currently not accepting new orders and this service is only available to existing customers.
